When I look in my camera, I like to see weird. Usually that weird is something around me- a weird looking rock, a knot in a tree that looks like a face, or an old, weathered plank of wood. A lot of times these don't make for great pictures- or perhaps I just don't know yet how to capture on film what I see in my eye.
When I look at other people's pictures, I like to see weird as well, but I've noticed that with other people's pictures I'm more drawn to people as subjects.
I want to capture the world with as few people cluttering up the shot as possible. But I want to see other people capturing other people.
I wonder why that is?
